Privacy Safeguard

The MAXHUB Transcend Series adopts the first ever flip-over camera¹ on a conference IFP. The camera flips automatically to the front once a teleconferencing application is activated, and flips to the back again once the session ends. This function is designed to safeguard privacy while the camera is left idle. In addition, the 48MP camera also maintains clear and sharp resolution even after auto-framing.

6-Element Mic Array with Greater Balance

MAXHUB Voice Localisation algorithm lays the foundation for its auto-framing function. Additionally, the volume from both near and afar are also balanced with its auto gain technology at work. The noise algorithm samples the environment noise and cancels out the unwanted hustle and bustle, therefore delivering a clearer voice.

Seam Speakers with Creative Acoustic Structure

The MAXHUB V5 series opens a much smaller seam for sound waves to travel through. This allows the sound waves to travel directly to the users, instead of bouncing off surfaces. The power is also increased by 14% with 2.1 stereo sound.

Improved Connectivity

A newly added USB Type-C port bridges screen-sharing to the MAXHUB V5 and enables reverse touch control from the touch screen. It also allows access to the built-in camera and microphone array, allowing users to enjoy wide viewing angled camera and 8-metres of voice pickup features on your laptop. MAXHUB V5 also supports extension mode via Type-C.

While Android operating system supports a user friendly human-computer interaction, the addition of a PC module would offer even greater security, broader compatibility and improved performance, making MAXHUB V5 a handy and powerful tool.

Android 9.0 & Windows 10 Dual OS⁶

1. Flip-over Camera refers to the built-in camera that rotates to the front once a teleconference or camera application needs to access the camera. This camera is available on MAXHUB V5 Transcend Series only.

2. With its pattern recognition and voice localisation algorithms, the MAXHUB V5 can locate the direction and guide the camera to zoom in on the speaker automatically during a video conference.

3. SNR refers to the Signal-to-Noise Ratio of the imaging system. The 48MP Camera of MAXHUB V5 Transcend Series achieves higher SNR during a UHD or FHD teleconference by gathering more light information and reducing the electric noise in the imaging process.

4. 18mm refers to the thinnest part of MAXHUB V5 Transcend Series.

5. A MAXHUB V5 Transcend series includes 2 USB Type-C ports. By connecting to a laptop, it projects the laptop’s screen onto and plays sound from the MAXHUB V5 with reverse touch control. Meanwhile, the laptop may access the built-in camera and microphone array as alternative video and audio signal input.

6. Android 9.0 runs on SA08 module whereas Windows 10 runs on MT51 module. Both modules are sold separately. You may insert either of the modules in the module slot.
